Establishing the company under the name of Hyundai Precision Industry in July 1977 and changing the name to MOBIS on November 1st, 2000, as the largest domestic automotive parts specialist, MOBIS has more closely approached the nation as a more friendly company through involvement in professional sports on the basis of its corporate ethical mission. Since the club won the championship in 1997, starting with the regular league championship in 2005/2006 season, overall championship in the 2006/2007 season, regular league championship in 2008/2009 season, and overall championship in the 2009/2010 season, it leads Korean professional basketball as truly the best national basketball club. The team and staff will do their best to become a pro basketball club which is loved by fans.

Starting with team member Jin-ho Kim winning a medal in the World archery Championship in the first year of its foundation, MOBIS Archery Team has grown to become the best team in Korea. MOBIS Archery Team has led Korean archery to produce distinguished players such as Gyeong-wook Kim, who won two gold medals in the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games, and Hyeon-jung Joo, who won a gold medal in the 2002 Beijing Olympic Games. In addition, MOBIS founded a compound bow team in 2010 following the recurve bow team to improve the dominance of Korean archery. MOBIS Archery Team will keep taking the initiative in developing Korean archery and in continuing with domination of the world.
